30-31 October, 2017
Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, Malaysia.
Persiaran Lagoon, Bandar Sunway, 47500 Selangor Darul Ehsan, Malaysia.

About the event:

LEADERS IN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT addresses strategic leadership at national and business levels to advance sustainable development in a rapidly changing world, while also taking into account local circumstances.

The world’s leaders have committed to adopt the 2030 Agenda and collectively pursue the 17 sustainable development goals. Two years on and leaders are exploring all prospects of making the achievement of the SDGs a reality within their national boundaries, even as they confront the areas of national and transnational concern that stand in their way.

Professor Jeffrey Sachs will lead a team of top experts in Sustainable Development practices to teach this course. This course will equip leaders in Malaysia, the ASEAN region, and beyond, with the insights and customised approaches for sustainable development programming, policy interventions and multi-stakeholder collaborations to galvanise sustainable development that will safeguard the well being, peace and prosperity in their respective constituencies for generations to come.
